What Will I Have To Do When I Join?
As a panel member, you will be given a handheld scanner or access to Scan n Go. You'll use the scanner or app to scan the barcodes on all the products you, or anyone else in your household, purchased during a shopping trip.
You'll also record other information about your shopping trips, like where you shopped, how much you paid, how many you bought, and more. You can transmit the shopping data via Scan n Go or the handheld scanner. Our handheld scanner will connect to your power point and the data is automatically transmitted to us at no cost to you.
How Often Do I Need To Scan?
We want you to scan every purchase that you or your household makes. There’s no hard rule as to how often you should scan as it depends on your shopping habits. However, we do award points every week that we receive purchasing data from you, so you should scan at least on weekly basis.
What Items Should I Scan?
You will use the scanner or Scan n Go to scan the barcodes on all the products you or others in your household purchased during a shopping trip. Scan the barcode of all your purchases from places like Supermarkets, Petrol & Convenience outlets, Milk Bars & Corner Stores, Liquor and Pharmacy.
How Do You Collect My Shopping Information?
Your shopping information is collected via scanner or Scan n Go.
The scanner’s memory will save all your scan data and will transmit that information to IRI via scanner base unit. The base unit connects automatically to IRI at no cost to you. You do no need to have a phone line to join or pay for the transmission.
When you use Scan n Go to scan your purchases. Your shopping history is transmitted to us as soon as you finish and tap ‘Transmit’.
How Will I Be Rewarded?
For each week you participate on the panel, you are awarded reward points which can be redeemed for a wide variety of merchandise from our gift catalogue.
Panel participation also earns you automatic entries into a variety of monthly prize draws, where you can win gift cards by regularly scanning your shopping. You will also receive newsletters filled with articles, feedback from our members, tips and easy competitions where you can win great prizes and earn extra bonus points.
What Happens To My Information?
When will I get $20 once I sign up?
You will Receive $20 in eGift Cards within the first month of signing up. $10 eGift Card when you send us your first scan and another $10 eGift Card after scanning each week for your first 4 weeks.Contact firstname.lastname@example.org

Why do I need to take a survey to join? What do you do with my information when I don’t qualify?
The purpose of the survey is to help IRI Shopper Panel become a balanced panel. We do not collect or share any information from our screening survey when you do not qualify.
